Port Blair, Dec 04: An eve teasing case of a class IX student of Port Mout area has surfaced today. According to report two senior students of the victim’s school had ‘troubled’ the girl after school hours.
The matter came out when mother of the girl reported this matter to Ogra Branch Police Station and an NGO. However, a FIR has not yet been registered yet as some of the senior officers of South Andaman region were called to Port Blair today to maintain law and order situation during fishermen’s protest.
Police Department could not provide exact details but preliminary report says that the girl has been admitted in Tushnabad Hospital. A police team however today met the girl to inquire into this matter, it is learnt. Further details are awaited.
