Port Blair, Nov 16: The Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray had made a request for grant of financial assistance from the Lt. Governors Relief Fund for the medical treatment at mainland hospital for Mrs. Jaya Roy W/o Mr. Subhah Chandra Roy, R/o Pinaki Nagar, Mayabunder vide his letter dated 11/09/2013. Now the Lt. Governor’s Secretariat has informed the MP that an amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh fifty Thousand only ) has been sanctioned from the L.G Relief Fund for the medical treatment of Mrs. Jaya Roy. The MP has expressed gratitude to the LG for considering the case.
