Port Blair, Nov 13: This may sound unbelievable but at the time when airfare is soaring sky high in Andaman Sector the GoAir has announced concession to Islanders for flight tickets. This concession applies when an islander commences a one-way or a return journey from Port Blair.
Mr. Gaurav Vaid, Airport Manager, Go Air told informed Andaman Sheekha that the company is providing a substantial discount to islanders as a special gesture to facilitate travel among the local populace for visits to the mainland.
“Islanders may enquire at the GoAir airport ticketing office for more details. To avail of the discount, an Islander’s card is a must. GoAir offers all possible assistance to islanders to help meet their travel objective – be it business, medical, education or meeting friends & family on the mainland,” Mr. Vaid further added.
