Port Blair, Nov 10: A team of PS Central Crime Station (CCS) today busted a Prostitution Racket from Prem Nagar area and arrested one lady and also a person who was operating the racket. According to reports, Shakkib Ahmed, the brothel operator, used to run the illegal business in a rented house at Prem Nagar.
The raid was conducted this afternoon, under the overall supervision of Dy.S.P (CID) Mr. Subodh Kumar Goswamy and the team was headed by SHO CCS, Mr. R K Sharma. The team consists of Sub Inspectors Usman Ali and PM Kumar, Male Constable Ashique and two Lady Constables Shashi Kala & Latha. The raid was conducted in presence of two independent witnesses.

Brothel! In PremNagar! Amazing!
Such a small place and brothels are showing up? I fail to comprehend how these things come up in the first place. Here everybody knows everybody else and things spread by word of mouth, how come a brothel existed in Prem Nagar at all is what baffles me.
