Port Blair, Nov 10: Lt Governor, Lt Gen (Retd) A. K. Singh has condoled the death of senior journalist and President of Press Club of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Shri M. Abdul Salim who passed away recently.
In a condolence message, the Lt Governor said “I am deeply grieved to learn about the sad demise of Shri Abdul Salim, a veteran journalist of the Islands. He was a well known journalist, who had vast knowledge of the local history and issues of the Islands. We convey our deep sympathy to the bereaved family members”, the LG said
