Rangat, Oct 15: On the occasion of Durga Puja Celebration the Ayojak committee has organized ARISE! AWAKE! Exhibition at Rangat on Swami Vivekananda’s 150th birth anniversary.
Mr. Amit Anand IFS (DFO) Middle Andaman, Rangat was the Chief Gust & inaugurated the exhibition in the evening on 11/10/2013. On second day (12/10/2013) Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray MP A&N Island visited the exhibition and appreciated the work done by Ayojak committee.
On the third day Smti. R.Menaka (IAS) AC Middle Andaman visited the exhibition. In the inaugural function some other dignitaries were also present namely Mr. C. Kandaswamy, President Mr. V. Senthil Kumar, Secretary, Mr. Deepak Karmakar, Treasurer, Mr. Adhir Matabar, Pradhan, Smti Srikala Principal, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rangat, Mr. T. Sebastian, Dy. S.P, Miss Abhita Bachan SHO, Rangat, Mr. C.K Paul, Retd. Teacher, Mr. Rangalal Halder, Secretary Durga Puja Committee, Mr. Malaishamy, Up- Pradhan, Mr. S.N Sundaram, Mr. Trishit Kumar Das, Mr. Abdul Aziz (Social Worker) and Mr. Rakesh Kumar Singh Teacher. Tha Ayojak Committee displayed exhibits about the life Swami Vivekananda.
