Port Blair, Oct 15: It is brought to the notice of the general consumers and Government departments that the work of loading and unloading of power transformers at 33 KV Garacharma Sub-Station, Port Blair, could not be carried out on 15.10.2013 as announced earlier due to unavoidable circumstances, Now the work shall be carried out on 17.10.2013, 18.10.2013 and 19.10.2013. Due to this reason the power supply will remain suspended in some of the areas on 17.10.2013, 18.10.2013 and 19.10.2013 from 0800 hours to 1100 hours subject to weather condition.
The areas to be affected by power disruption are Dollygunj, Attompahar, Old Pahargaon, lCMR Colony area, part of Minnie Bay, Garacharma complete, Bhatu Basti, Pathergudda, Prothrapur, New Pahargaon, Satellite Colony, CARI, GSS, Bird Line, Calicut, Kamaraj Nagar, Beodnabad, Rangachang, Burmanallah, Chidiyatapu, Japan Nallah, Austinabad, Corbyn’s Cove, Brichgunj, Brookshabad and part of Chakkargoan.
