Port Blair, Oct 09: The PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, Mr. Anand Prakash to consider closing of all schools on 10th October, 2013. In his letter Kuldeep has stated that due to heavy rainfall, live electrical wire, branches are falling down on the streets causing danger to the school going children. More to it, being drenched, the students are attacked with cold and cough and becoming sick. Hence Kuldeep has requested for considering closing of schools on 10th October, 2013 of all affected islands including South Andaman as it has been done for the schools of North and Middle Andaman.
