Port Blair, October 07: Based on the sighting of Moon in these Islands, the Andaman & Nicobar Hilal Committee in its meeting has decided that “EIDUL AZHA” will be celebrated in these Islands on Wednesday the 16th October, 2013.
“The Hilal Committee conveys its good wishes on the auspicious occasion to all the people of these Islands. May this Eid strengthen world peace, prosperity, bonds of brotherhood and bring happiness amongst all the people,” a release issued by Mohd. H Jadwet, the Secretary of A & N Hilal Committee said here today.
