Port Blair, Sep 26: Mr. R.Karunanithi, President, Human Right Organization in his letter addressed to the Manager, Indane, CCS Ltd has requested him to provide facility of disbursing of LPG cylinder using a pickup van in Rainbow Colony, Nayagaon.
He informed the manager that a grievance was received from the people of Rainbow Colony, Nayagaon village regarding irregular supply of LPG cylinders in the said village, the CCS ltd is the LPG distributor for Rainbow Colony, Nayagoan village and the issue of the villager is that in earlier days, the firm CCS ltd used truck for the supply of LPG cylinders in the village.
As the approach road to the village was narrow, the firm CCS Ltd avoided to go inside the village because of difficulties in driving the Vehicle from the narrow path.
But at present in order to facilitate the people and for fast transportation of LPG cylinders the LPG distributor CCS Ltd engaged small pickup vans to the area where the approach is narrow and accessibility is tough, but still Rainbow colony, Nayagoan village is still not provided with door to door cylinder distribution service by CCS Ltd.
The residents of the colony now still have to walk about 500 mtrs and reach Nayagaon junction to get LPG cylinders.
Mr. R.Karunanithi requested the manager to take necessary action and facilitate distribution of LPG cylinders using a pickup van to ease the problems of the residents of the colony.
