Port Blair, Sep 25: Mr. Diljeet Singh a well known social worker of these islands today joined the Nationalist Congress Party along with hundreds of his young supporters. Mrs. Uma Bharatthy, President, NCP gave Mr. Diljeet and all his supporters primary membership of the party.
Mr. Diljeet in his joining speech shared his and his supporters opinion of joining a corruption free political party which he said is the need of the hour. Further in his speech he added that his young supporters will prove themselves in the near future. The youths are reportedly from different panchayats and Municipal Wards of these Islands and are all supporters of Mr. Diljeet.
