Port Blair, Sept 12: The Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (A&N) organized the Intra Region Swimming Championship-2013 at ANC swimming pool, Minnie Bay from 09-12 Sep 2013 in a most befitting manner. All units of the Coast Guard Region (A&N) grouped into four teams enthusiastically participated in the swimming competition. Team ‘A’ comprising of RHQ (A&N) and all CG shore establishments in Port Blair was declared the overall Winner. Santu Ghosh U/Nvk (RP) of ICGS Aruna Asaf Ali was adjudged the ‘Best Swimmer’. The Chief Guest for the event, IG VSR Murthy, PTM, TM, Commander Coast Guard Region (A&N) congratulated the winners and the participants. He also complimented ICGS Aruna Asaf Ali for organizing the Swimming Championship flawlessly.
