Port Blair, Sept 12: The Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Port Mout has celebrated Universal brotherhood day on 11th September, 2013 in the school when newly constructed four class rooms built by Zilla Parishad were also inaugurated by the Chairman, ANCOFED Kuldeep Rai Sharma as Chief Guest.
In his in speech Kuldeep has lauded the sincere efforts of the Management and teachers of the school through whose efforts the students are showing brilliant results and very recently the Lt Governor has also praised of the school. Started in July, 2003 with KG-I and KG II, the school management has been able to upgrade the school to class Xth this year with cooperation of Director of Education, Zilla parisahad and Kendra with 459 students, 20 well qualified teaching staff including the Principal and 05 non teaching staff which is very much appreciable, Kuldeep said. Kuldeep has emphasized for further up gradation of the school at Senior Secondary level with more class rooms so that the students, studying in this school may be able to continue their studies in the same school.
At the outset Kuldeep has remembered the great monk and philanthropist Swamy Vivekananda and admired the decision of the school management for selecting the universal brotherhood day for inaugurating the school rooms, as on this date in 1893 Swamy jee has conquered the whole world through his historical speech at Chicago Conference. Zilla Parishad Adhyksha, SA Abala Samaddar and Pramukh Panchayat Samiti Mohd.Safique have also spoken on the occasion. Nripendra Nath Nag, ZP Member, Guptapara has welcomed the gathering while Pradhan Gram Panchayat Couldari Subhash Dey has proposed vote of thanks.
