Port Blair, Aug 30:Power supply will remain suspended in some of the areas on 31.08.2013 from 0800 hours to 1600 hours for shifting of Distribution Transformer from structure to foundation at Bambooflat Medical, replacing BSNL Transformer at Wimberlygunj with 100 KVA transformer and other preventive maintenance works of Panel-V feeder under Ferrargunj Sub-Division.
The areas to be affected by power disruption are Bambooflat, Wimberlygunj, Ferrargunj and adjoining areas.
The works will be carried out subject to weather condition.
Power supply will also remain suspended on 31.08.2013 from 0730 hours to 1500 hours in some more areas to carry out feeder bifurcation work.
The areas to be affected by power suspension are Garacharma, Bhatu Basti, Pathergudda, part of Prothrapur, New Pahargaon, Old Pahargaon, Dollygunj, Minnie Bay and School Line.
Further there shall be interruption of power supply from Rangat Bay to Baratang in Baratang & Rangat feeder on 31st August 2013 from 0700 hours to 1400 hours for carrying out urgent line shifting work at Bakultala and maintenance in Baratang and Rangat Feeder. The work shall not be done in case of inclement weather.
