New Delhi, Aug 25: There has been a rise in the population of endangered tribal groups and state governments have been asked to prepare a comprehensive conservation plan to help them grow further, the government has said.
The endangered Onge tribe of Andaman and Nicobar islands has reported a marginal increase in its population from 96 in 2001 to 101 in 2011 census. (Source: PTI)
