Billyground, Aug 18: The PTA committee of Vivekananda Kendra Zila Parishad Vidyalaya Basantipur was formed yesterday. Parents and teachers discussed various important issues related to the development of the School. Parents expressed their happiness to the school administration for well management. But it has come to the light during the discussion with parents and teachers that all the teachers of VKZP schools requires more training about CCE pattern.
“We request Mr. DN Singh, Secretary cum Director of Education Andaman & Nicobar Administration to make arrangements for such training for the teachers of the school so that all the rural children those who are studying in Prvt. Schools get quality education,” said a parent during meeting.
Besides this parents expressed anger towards Zilla Parishad for not providing proper infrastructure to the school. The Vivekananda Kendra Zilaparishad Vidyalaya Basantipur have been upgraded to Middle School but Zilla Parsihads of North & Middle Andaman has failed to provide sufficient numbers of classrooms.
The parents also expressed concern over the water stagnation around the school due to faulty drainage system.
