Port Blair, Aug 16: On the occasion of Independence Day, Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (A&N) conducted outreach activity by distributing articles of daily use to the underprivileged strata of the Society.
The event was conducted at CGWWA Welfare Centre at Panipath Road, Haddo under the guidance of Mrs. Jyoti Murthy, President Tatrakshika (A&N). The Office bearers and Members of Tatrakshika (A&N) also attended the event.
Mrs. Jyoti Murthy distributed the articles to the 22 ladies who were present during the event. Speaking on the occasion, she stated that this small contribution from the CGWWA (A&N) is an humble attempt in its resolve to focus on the Welfare activities outside the organization, which CGWWA (A&N) undertakes on a regular basis.
