Port Blair, Aug 14: The Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lt. Gen (Retd.) A K Singh has recently mentioned in his tweet that he will try to introduce the exciting game of Cycle Polo in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, after the rains. In his post dated 12 August 2013 in the micro blogging site twitter, Mr. Singh mentioned that for this game one needs cycles and shortened polo sticks.
The tweet was posted on 12th August by the Lt. Governor after meeting the Defence and Civil Aviation Minister and playing Cycle Polo at Army Polo and Riding Club at New Delhi.
“After work today enjoyed a round of cycle polo at army polo n riding club, probably the first Lt. Governor to play such an active sport,” Lt. Governor, A K Singh tweeted.
