Port Blair, Aug 05: The off-site coverage office of 24×7 National News Channel, TV 24 will be launched tomorrow at RGT road, Port Blair by the Lt Governor, Lt Gen (Retd) AK Singh, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM at 5.45 PM.
In India TV 24 is transmitted on DTH platforms covering major DTH operators and every network. Mr. John Robert Babu has been appointed as Network Director cum Bureau Chief who will work from Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the channel.
Mr. Robert has also been authorized to collect news and advertisements from the area. Mr Rashid Yusoof will give guidance and cooperation to him. The Chairman ANCOFED, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has congratulated John Robert Babu for his new assignment and wished him every success in the field of electronic Media. Mr L Labh Singh Ahluwalia, Chairman of the channel is arriving to Port Blair to grace the occasion.
