Port Blair, July 16: The Lt. Governor of A& N islands, Lt. Gen (Retd) A.K. Singh today assured to visit Baratang by Andaman Trunk Road. The Lt. Governor today met a delegation of PRI members at Raj Niwas and during the meeting the Pradhan of Sundergarh, Mr. Biju Gurudasan invited him to Baratang and requested him to come via road. The Lt. Governor reportedly assured to come to Baratang via ATR.
During the meeting Mr. Gurudasan submitted a letter highlighting various problems of Middle Andaman which are poor road connectivity in Vijaygarh I & II, disruption of power supply, Shortage of Doctors and Teachers in his area etc.
