Port Blair, July 11: Mr. Theva Neethi Dhas, Secretary (Law) today said that location of three Burmese poachers, who had escaped from Prothrapur Jail on June 30, 2013,is being tracked and soon the Administration will catch them. Talking to Andaman Sheekha today the Secretary (Law) said that the Administration is doing all out effort to catch them again.
An magisterial inquiry has already been ordered in this regard and based on the serious negligence and dereliction of duty resulting in the escape of the Burmese poachers, one Head Warder, Mr. Harish Chander has been placed under suspension and the Home Guard on duty has been discharged from the roll.
