Sri Vijay Puram, Nov. 6: The District Planning Committee meeting of South Andaman District (including Campbell Bay revenue area) is scheduled to be held under the Chairmanship of Shri. P. Ummer, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad in the Conference Hall of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman on Nov. 10 & 11. The meeting will be attended by the District Planning Committee Members, Special Invitees and Secretaries/HODs of plan implementing departments under A&N Administration to discuss and finalize prioritized District Action Plan 2027-2028 and prioritize Action Plan 2026-2027 of Panchayati Raj Institution’s (PRIs) South Andaman District (including revenue area of Campbell Bay) as per the following schedule –
On November 10 – Department of Education, JNRM, ANCOL, DBRAIT, Tagore College, Law College, Sports & Youth Affairs, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Fisheries, Agriculture, Disaster Management, Social Welfare, APWD, Rural Development & PRIs, District Administration, IT Department, Power (Electricity) and Civil Supply & Consumers Affairs.
On November 11– Department of Shipping, Port Management Board, Transport, Environment & Forest, Industries, IP&T, Govt. Press, Health, Labour, Employment & Training, Tribal Welfare, Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council (SVPMC), Science & Technology, Police & Fire Brigade, Arts & culture, Civil Aviation, Personnel (Cash), Accounts & Budget, Law Department, Economics & Statistics and Register Co-operative Society (RCS).
