Sri Vijaya Puram, October 28: Mr. Jitendra Narayan, District President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Sri Vijaya Puram District, has submitted a representation to the Lt. Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, requesting directions to start a Government bus service from Dollygunj (Ward No. 17) to G.B. Pant Hospital.
In his letter, Mr. Jitendra Narayan stated that residents of Dollygunj and adjoining areas, particularly patients, senior citizens and students visiting G.B. Pant Hospital, are facing hardship due to the non-availability of a regular bus service during crucial hours.
He has requested that buses be operated from Dollygunj to G.B. Pant Hospital during the morning hours between 07:00 AM and 09:00 AM and at around 02:00 PM (1400 hours) on all days from Monday to Sunday.
He hoped that the Administration will consider the demand in public interest and take early action.
