Sri Vijaya Puram, October 27: Mr. Narayan Mondal, Pradhan, GP Bakultala, will join young citizens at the Yuva Samvaad in North and Middle Andaman District.
Mera Yuva Bharat, Rangat, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, will organise the Yuva Samvaad at the Industrial Training Institute, Bakultala, North and Middle Andaman District, from 10:00 am onwards tomorrow. The programme aims to bring young citizens and public representatives together on a common platform to promote democratic awareness, encourage informed participation and highlight the role of youth in nation-building.
As part of the nationwide Viksit Bharat Yuva Samvaad initiative, being organised across 500 universities, colleges and institutions from 26th October to 5th November 2026, the programme in North and Middle Andaman District will bring together young citizens and distinguished personalities for meaningful engagement. The event will be graced by Mr. Narayan Mondal, Pradhan, GP Bakultala, and will also be attended by Prohit Baroi, Sport Icon, and Debojit Halder, Youth Icon. Their presence will add to the significance of the occasion, bringing together perspectives on public leadership, sporting excellence and youth aspirations.
The key highlight of the Yuva Samvaad will be an interactive dialogue between students and the Youth Icon, offering young participants a platform to ask questions, share their perspectives and engage in meaningful discussions on democratic participation and civic responsibility. The programme will also feature the Loktantrik Pledge, through which participants will reaffirm their commitment to democratic values, informed participation and responsible citizenship. These engagements aim to inspire young people to value their voices and recognise their role in strengthening India’s democratic fabric.
By bringing young people closer to democratic institutions, the Yuva Samvaad seeks to create a generation that is not merely aware of the nation’s progress but actively contributes to it. The initiative places Yuva Shakti at the heart of nation-building, encouraging young citizens to turn their ideas, aspirations and sense of responsibility into meaningful contributions towards Viksit Bharat@2047, a press release from the District Youth Office, Mera Yuva Bharat, Rangat, said.
