Port Blair, July 04: The Department of Fisheries, A&N Administration invites applications from individuals/Fishers/Cooperative Societies/Self Help Groups from A&N Islands for setting up of Open Sea Cage Culture Units under the RKVY scheme ‘Subsidy for Setting up of Open Sea Cage Culture Unit” during 2013-14.
The scheme envisages subsidy @ 50% of the actual cost of the Open Sea Cage Culture Unit of 12 m diameter subject to a maximum of 3.00 lakh including the cost of net material, HDPE, frames (High Density Polyethylene Frame), float, Anchors.
Application form and detailed Terms & Conditions of the scheme can be obtained from the Directorate of Fisheries/Fisheries Zonal Offices/Fisheries Sub-Offices/Panchayat Samitis and the completed applications may be submitted to the nearest Fisheries Zonal Offices/Fisheries Sub-Offices. The application form can also be downloaded from the A&N Administration’s website, www.and.nic.in. The application should reach the concerned offices on or before 31.07.2013.
