Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 25: The NCC Army Unit of Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM), Sri Vijaya Puram, organized a special awareness campaign under the nationwide initiative “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” at Flag Point.
A total of 100 NCC cadets, along with the Associate NCC Officer, Lt. Dr. Vivek Kumar Sahu, and PI Staff, actively participated in the programme. The ANO delivered an inspiring lecture on de-addiction, discipline, and responsible citizenship, motivating the cadets to adopt a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
During the programme, Cadet Joel V. Mal (B.Com.), Cadet D. Mukesh, Cadet Samiksha (B.A. Political Science), and Cadet Roshni (B.Sc. Zoology) shared their experiences and reflections on the importance of staying away from substance abuse. Their messages underscored the significant role of youth in promoting awareness and contributing to a healthy and progressive society.
The campaign concluded with a collective pledge by the NCC cadets to remain committed to a drug-free lifestyle, spread awareness among their peers and communities, and contribute towards building a Drug-Free India.
