Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 18:The 8th Edition of the Khelo India Youth Games–2026 (KIYG-2026) is scheduled to be hosted by the State of Telangana during November/ December 2026. The prestigious National Level Sporting event will provide a significant platform for young sportspersons from across the country to showcase their talent and compete at the highest level in various sporting disciplines.
The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Contingent is proposed to participate in the Under-17 and Under-21 age categories for both Boys and Girls. The Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, A&N Administration, therefore, requests all Government and Government-aided Schools/Institutions, Colleges/ Youth Clubs, Sports Associations and other concerned stakeholders to widely disseminate this information and encourage talented and eligible young sportspersons to participate in the selection process.

In this regard, the interested sports person of the said age categories may prepare themselves for the upcoming selection trials to be held in the last week of October- 2026. Eligible sportspersons are encouraged to make full use of this opportunity and participate in the selection process to represent A&N Islands in the Prestigious Khelo India Youth Games- 2026.
Further details regarding the eligibility criteria, dates, venues and participation of sportspersons from the Andaman & Nicobar Islands will be communicated separately upon receipt of the official notification.
