Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 17: N&MA Police has secured the conviction of an accused in an NDPS case registered in January 2026.
On 08.09.2026, the Hon’ble Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mayabunder, pronounced judgment in the case registered at PS Diglipur on 28.01.2026.
Acting promptly on information, the PS Diglipur team intercepted the accused and seized approximately 500 grams of Ganja. The case was thereafter investigated meticulously, with effective evidence collection and diligent prosecution follow-up, leading to the conviction of the accused with a fine of ₹10,000/- imposed by the Hon’ble Court.
The conviction stands as a testament to the professional and diligent policing of N&MA Police and also reinforces the unwavering commitment of N&MA Police towards combating the menace of drugs.
