Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 14: In a deeply meaningful initiative aimed at extending dignity, compassion and support to families during one of the most difficult moments of their lives, the TSG Charitable Foundation facilitated a Mortuary Van Service, which was formally launched from the historic Cellular Jail.
The service was officially launched by Mr. P. Ummer, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad South Andaman and Mr. R. Alagar Swamy, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad North & Middle Andaman, in the presence of several dignitaries, well-wishers and members of the TSG family.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, TSG Charitable Foundation, recalled his parents with deep emotion and gratitude. He said that the values of compassion, service and charity were instilled in him and his brothers by their parents, who taught them that true wealth lies in extending a helping hand to those in need.
He expressed happiness that the third generation of the TSG family is also following the same footprints, ensuring that the spirit of compassion and social responsibility continues from one generation to another.
Mr. TSG Bhasker also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all his family members, whose constant encouragement and support have strengthened his efforts in carrying out various charitable and humanitarian initiatives through the Foundation. The Mortuary Van Service is envisioned as a compassionate support system for families who are faced with the painful loss of a loved one. At such moments, when families are emotionally and financially vulnerable, timely assistance can provide much-needed relief and dignity. The initiative reflects the core philosophy of the TSG Charitable Foundation—to stand with people not only in moments of celebration, but also during their most difficult and sorrowful hours.
