Sri Vijaya Puram Sept 13: In collaboration with Usha Silai School, Hope Foundation has been providing tailoring training to women, helping them develop skills, earn income and become financially independent. Many of the trained women are now also supporting and empowering other women to become self-reliant.
To recognise their contribution, Hope Foundation felicitated seven outstanding women who have helped the maximum number of women generate income. Awards and certificates were distributed to the achievers during the programme. Chief Guest Mrs. Rita Devi, former Women Welfare Officer, appreciated the efforts of Hope Foundation NGO in empowering women through skill development and livelihood opportunities. The programme was also attended by Mr. K. Ganeshan, former Municipal Chairperson and former Ward Councillor of Buniyadabad, and Mrs. Laxmi Ganeshan, Councillor of Ward No. 8.
