Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 09: The people of Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar, have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, the Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, for his valuable efforts in facilitating the sailing of Shakti Shipping Pvt. Ltd. from Haddo Jetty at 2:00 PM today, carrying a consignment of 1,980 LPG cylinders for Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar.
The initiative is expected to provide much-needed relief to the residents of Great Nicobar and contribute towards ensuring a more regular and reliable supply of LPG cylinders in the region.
The residents also expressed their sincere appreciation to the Andaman & Nicobar Administration and the Shipping Department for their support and cooperation in facilitating the transportation and supply of LPG cylinders to Campbell Bay.
Special appreciation was also conveyed to Mr. R. Vimod, State Vice President, BJP, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Mr. K. Paramasivam, State Secretary, BJP, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, for their continued efforts, support and commitment towards addressing the essential needs and welfare of the people of Great Nicobar.
The people of Campbell Bay expressed hope that such coordinated efforts will continue in the future to ensure uninterrupted availability of essential commodities in the remote islands.
