Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 30: Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, Campaign Committee–ANTCC, visited the Naveen Nagar area of Diglipur, where an eviction drive is currently being carried out in an area identified as encroachment land.
During his visit, Mr. Bhasker met several affected families and subsequently spoke with the authorities and requested that the affected families be provided an additional 10 days to enable them to make necessary alternative arrangements and avoid undue hardship. The request was immediately considered by the authorities, providing the families with additional time to make arrangements.
Several PRI members from the area were also present during the visit and participated in discussions concerning the issues faced by the affected families.
