
Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 24: HumaneTouch successfully organised its ClothShare Initiative at five different locations in Ferrargunj Tehsil on Sunday, extending support to nearly 250 households.
The initiative was carried out by three units of HumaneTouch. The Wimberly Gunj Unit conducted the programme at Namunaghar Quarry Basti, while the Nayapuram Unit organised it at Brindaban Gram Panchayat Ward No. 1. The Stewart Gunj Unit conducted the programme at three locations under Hope Town Gram Panchayat, namely PKS Nagar, Anna Nagar and Chunna Batta Ranchi Basti.
The first two programmes at Namunaghar and Brindaban were held at 10:00 AM on August 23, 2026. The programmes under Hope Town Gram Panchayat were held at 3:30 PM in the evening.
At Namunaghar, M.K. Naseerudeen, Executive Member, HumaneTouch, introduced the various initiatives and welfare activities being carried out by the organisation. At Brindaban, N. Yassir, Executive Member, HumaneTouch briefed the gathering about the service-oriented work of HumaneTouch. At Hope Town, M. Ishaque Ali, President, HumaneTouch Stewart Gunj Unit, spoke about the objectives of the ClothShare Initiative and the organisation’s continued commitment to serving needy families. Mrs. Rasheeda Banu, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Hope Town, also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the efforts of HumaneTouch.
Through this initiative, clothes were distributed among families in need, helping many households with usable clothing support. HumaneTouch stated that the ClothShare Initiative is not merely a distribution programme, but an effort to promote dignity, care and community responsibility.
The organisation extended heartfelt thanks to Houries for donating a large number of new clothes for the initiative. HumaneTouch also expressed gratitude to all members, volunteers, local representatives and well-wishers who supported the successful conduct of the programme across all five locations.
