Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 4: For the academic year 2026-27, applications have been invited from the eligible ST students to apply for both fresh and renewal applications under the following scholarship schemes as per the timelines given below:

All eligible ST students have been advised to apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at https://scholarships.gov.in under the State Scheme – A&N Islands for the following scholarships:
- Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students
- Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students
- Additional Scholarship for ST Students
Applicants are advised to ensure that their Aadhar details are updated and linked with their current bank account and registered mobile so that payment of scholarship does not fail. To facilitate the process, a dedicated helpdesk has been set up in all schools and colleges to assist ST beneficiaries in filling out online applications on the NSP portal. Additionally, a central helpdesk has been setup at the Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Secretariat Complex, Sri Vijaya Puram to provide further support.
All eligible Scheduled Tribe students are encouraged to come forward and avail the financial assistance extended by the UT Administration and the Government of India.
