Port Blair, Jun 23: The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) under the leadership of Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray on Friday staged Dharna at Diglipur and raised several demands such as Old age pension should be distributed between 1-5 of every month, A Gynecologist should be posted at Diglipur PHC, Speed boats should be introduced six days a week with night sailing, Resurvey of the BPL list which was obstructed due to wrong scoring by District Rural Agency, ANIIDCO should stop operating vehicles to ease way for unemployed youths, Pending domestic electric meter connection should be released, Resurvey of Islander Identity card for the left out genuine persons and regularization of encroachments.
