Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 02: The Department of Fisheries, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, invites applications from bonafide Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of A&N Islands for the allotment of space within the premises of the Departmental Fisheries ‘Museum-cum-Aquarium’ for the establishment of a sales outlet.
The sales outlet is intended to promote the marketing and sale of fisheries-related products and other items as may be approved by the Department, thereby providing livelihood opportunities to eligible Self-Help Groups while enhancing visitor amenities at the Fisheries Museum-cum-Aquarium.
Eligibility: The applicant shall be a Bonafide Self-Help Group (SHG) duly registered/recognized by the competent authority, the SHG should submit documentary proof of registration/recognition along with the application, the SHG shall not have been blacklisted by any Government Department or agency, the SHG shall comply with all applicable statutory requirements and any other conditions prescribed by the Directorate of Fisheries.
Interested SHGs may submit their applications in the letter head of the concerned SHGs along with supporting documents duly recommended and forwarded by the concerned Block Development Officer to the Office of the Assistant Director of Fisheries (Museum-cum-Aquarium), Directorate of Fisheries, Sri Vijaya Puram, on or before 16th August, 2026.
