Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 02: The ICAR–Central Island Agricultural Research Institute invites applications from entrepreneurs and start-ups with innovative prototypes or Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) in the domain of Farm Mechanization and Post-Harvest Technology.
The programme is designed to provide technology mentoring, incubation, and hand-holding support to help innovators transform promising business ideas into validated, market-ready enterprises. Selected candidates will participate in a two-month incubation programme, during which they will receive expert guidance and technical mentorship to refine their innovative products and accelerate their journey towards commercialization.
The programme welcomes start-up opportunities in areas including island farming technologies, coconut and spice value addition, integrated aquaculture, protected cultivation, organic farming products, and climate-resilient agriculture.
