Sri Vijaya Puram, July 30: Mr. Manojit Halder, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Harinagar, along with Mr. Dilip Kumar Das, Panchayat Samiti Member (PSM), met with Mr. Apurva Sharma, DANICS, Director of RD/PRIs at Vijay Puram on July 29, 2026. During the meeting, the Pradhan extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Director for the recent release of sector funds for Gram Panchayat Harinagar. He further requested the expedited release of the remaining sector funds to ensure uninterrupted developmental works, to which the Director gave a positive assurance. Mr. Manojit Halder also raised a request for funding the construction of a segregation yard under GP Harinagar. The Director informed that due to the current non-availability of dedicated funds for the same, immediate alternative arrangements would be made. In the presence of the delegation, the Director instructed Mr. Jitesh Dubey, Executive Officer/Nodal Officer VBGRAM(G), to take necessary action to construct the segregation yard under the VBGRAM(G) scheme. Mr. Dubey assured the officials that the needful would be done at the earliest. Later in the discussion, Mr. Dilip Kumar Das, PSM, highlighted that the Panchayat Samiti has not yet received its sector funds, which is creating obstacles for local development. He requested the early release of these funds to accelerate growth in the region. The Director patiently heard the grievance and assured that the matter would be addressed swiftly. The meeting concluded with both public representatives extending their heartiest thanks to the Director for his patient hearing and positive intervention.
