Port Blair, June 21: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC in his letter addressed to Mrs. Rina Ray, Principal Secretary Education, Andaman and Nicobar Administration has requested her to consider early appointment of the teachers under Sarva Siksha Abhiyan of Education Department.
In his letter Mr. Sharma has lauded the efforts of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration for introducing all the programmes related to Education and stated that these programmes will be really beneficial for the development of the Students only if the Education department expedite issue of appointment orders to the eligible and waiting teachers.
Supporting his statement Mr. Sharma said that the delay in issuing such orders will not only hamper the studies of the students but also affect the mental status of those waiting teachers who opted for this noble profession and are waiting for a job in education department to help their families with the salary which they will earn from the department and also to carry out their further studies through correspondence courses to quench their thirst to acquire more knowledge which will, on the other hand be beneficial to the students of the Islands.
