
Sri Vijaya Puram, July 26: The Minority Department- ANTCC, under the leadership of Mr. Saji Varghese Chairman, Minority Department, organised a Mass Victory Rally to celebrate the resignation of Union Education Minister Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan following the nationwide protests by students and youth against the NEET/CBSE paper leak scam.
The rally also demanded an apology from Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi for the alleged lathi-charge on students who had peacefully raised their voices seeking justice and accountability.
The Victory Rally commenced from Wimberlygunj Ground and culminated at Wimberlygunj Junction, with a large number of Congress workers, students, youth and PRI Members participating enthusiastically.
Following the successful conclusion of the rally, sweets were distributed among the participants to mark the occasion.
The rally was led by Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, Campaign Committee-ANTCC, along with several Congress leaders, youths and PRI members of Mannarghat, Kanyapuram & Wimberlygunj.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. TSG Bhasker congratulated the students and youth whose determined and peaceful movement compelled the government to take responsibility. He reaffirmed that the Congress Party would continue to stand with students and fight for a transparent, fair and corruption-free education system, while ensuring that the voices of the country’s youth are never suppressed.
