
Little Andaman, July 25: The Identification and Assessment (Medical Assessment) Camp for Children with Special Needs (CwSN) was successfully conducted at the Multi-Purpose Hall, PM SHRI GSSS Ramkrishnapur, Little Andaman today in presence of the Teacher In-Charge, Mr. Dasharath Mallick, PGT. The camp was led by a team of Medical Professionals from Primary Health Centre, Ramkrishnapur Dr Farheen, GDMO (H), who assessed the students to identify and evaluate their educational and rehabilitation needs, to identify disabilities or deformities among school children, review the progress of already-identified CwSN, and provide guidance and counselling to CwSN and their parents through qualified medical & rehabilitation professionals. A total of 16 students, accompanied by their parents and guardians, attended the medical assessment camp.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Smti M Vijayalakshmi, BRP (CwSN).
