Port Blair, Jun 19: Mr. Vishal Jolly, President of A & N State BJP unit today demanded admission of left out students of GSSS Sabri Jn. to Science Stream.
In a letter addressed to the Lt. Governor, Mr. Jolly said that after the declaration of the 10th standard results nearly twenty eight students could not get admission in the science steam at GSSS Sabri Junction.
He further added that all the students who have not got admissions have passed their Secondary School Examinations from the same school and there are no other schools in the nearby areas offering Science Streams and because of which both the parents and the students are facing mental agony.
Mr. Jolly concluded his letter by requesting the Lt. Governor to order the Education Department to make arrangements for accommodating the students in the Science Stream of the school or to open up Arts and Commerce stream in English medium in the same school to accommodate these Students.
