
Sri Vijaya Puram, July 09: A delegation of around 15 members from the Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO), led by its President, Mr. M. Vinod, participated in Connect Bengal 2026, one of Bengal’s largest B2B travel networking events, held at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Kolkata, Organized by the Travel Agents’ Association of Bengal (TAAB), the event brought together tourism stakeholders, travel professionals, hoteliers, and industry leaders from across the country, providing an excellent platform for networking, business collaborations, and destination promotion.
The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Purnima Chakraborty, Minister of State for, Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism, Government of West Bengal.
The AATO delegation actively showcased the immense tourism potential of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, highlighting the islands’ pristine beaches, adventure tourism, eco-tourism, and unique experiences. The participation reinforced AATO’s continued commitment to promoting Brand Andaman in key domestic markets and strengthening partnerships with the travel trade.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. M. Vinod, President, AATO, said that Connect Bengal serves as an excellent platform to engage with travel partners and expand business opportunities for the Andaman tourism industry.
He expressed his sincere gratitude to TAAB for organising such a meaningful event and for providing an opportunity to showcase the Andaman & Nicobar Islands to the travel fraternity.
