Sri Vijaya Puram, July 6: The Skill Development Programme Cell at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Pahargaon invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to a Short-Term Free Training Course for 03 Months (390hrs) in Manual Metal Arc Welding / Shielded Metal Arc Welding – Welder (NSQF Level-3) under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 4.0.The programme aims to equip unemployed youth with industry-relevant technical skills and enhance their employability through competency-based training. As part of the course curriculum, On-the-Job Training (OJT) will be conducted concurrently during the three-month training period in suitable departments under the A&N Administration, enabling trainees to gain practical exposure and hands-on workplace experience.
The eligibility criteria for admission to the course as per qualification pack are as follows: Applicants should have passed 10th Class (or equivalent) or Candidates who have passed Grade 8 with two years of NTC/NAC after 8th (or equivalent) or passed 9th Class with 1.5 years of relevant work experience or 8th Class with three years of relevant work experience or previous relevant qualification of NSQF Level 2.5 with 1.5 years of relevant work experience or Previous relevant Qualification of NSQF Level 2 with 3 Years of experience relevant.
