Sri Vijaya Puram, June 29: Ms. Sneha Toppo and Ms. P. Alagammal, residential trainees of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) STC, Sri Vijaya Puram, have brought pride to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands by winning Bronze Medals at the U-23 & 1st Para National Rowing Championships 2026, held from 24th June to 27th June 2026 at Pune, Maharashtra.
Representing the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, both athletes displayed exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the championship. Their outstanding performances against strong competition from athletes representing various States and Union Territories brought laurels to the Islands.
This achievement reflects the athletes’ hard work, dedication, and perseverance, along with the valuable guidance of their coaches and the quality training provided at SAI STC, Sri Vijaya Puram.
