Sri Vijaya Puram, June 22: The District Administration, South Andaman, has issued a public notification informing that Range Clearance Chinte Long Range at Brichgunj will be carried out on 23rd June, 2026, from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.
The notification has been issued under the provisions of Sub-Section (2) of Section 10 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938.
The District Administration has appealed to the general public, particularly residents of Prothrapur and Brichgunj villages, to keep themselves as well as their cattle away from the firing range during the notified date and time to ensure safety and avoid any untoward incident.
The notification has been issued by the District Magistrate, South Andaman, through the competent authority.
