
Sri Vijaya Puram, June 21: As part of the Pragati Padh Yatra, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs & Minority Affairs, Mr. Kiren Rijiju, visited several key locations in Andaman & Nicobar Islands to review the developmental works undertaken by the Government of India during the last 12 years. The Minister visited the ongoing construction site of the Sea Port Terminal at Swaraj Dweep, South Andaman District, and reviewed the progress of the prestigious infrastructure project.
The Union Minister also visited the New Terminal of Veer Savarkar International Airport, Sri Vijaya Puram, where he witnessed the remarkable transformation brought about through major infrastructure upgrades. As part of the Pragati Padh Yatra, he reviewed the developmental initiatives carried out over the past 12 years and paid floral tributes to Veer Savarkar, recalling his invaluable contribution to the nation.
Continuing the Yatra, Union Minister visited Gandhi Park, Sri Vijaya Puram, where he reviewed the improvements and developmental works undertaken in the area. He paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and witnessed the transformation of the public space.
The Union Minister also visited Flag Point, Sri Vijaya Puram, and took stock of the developmental progress achieved over the last 12 years.
