Sri Vijaya Puram, June 19: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) celebrated the 56th Birthday of Mr. Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition, Lok Sabha, with great enthusiasm and fervour at the Congress Office, Port Blair on 19th June 2026.
The celebration commenced with a cake-cutting ceremony by ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder & Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker. Although Congress leaders, office bearers, frontal organization representatives, and party workers gathered to convey their heartfelt birthday wishes to Mr. Rahul Gandhi Ji and acknowledged his unwavering commitment towards safeguarding democracy, social justice, and the rights of the common people.
On the occasion, the leaders highlighted Mr. Rahul Gandhi’s consistent efforts in raising the concerns of the marginalized sections of society, youth, farmers, labourers, and the people of India both inside and outside Parliament. They lauded his dedication to upholding constitutional values and strengthening democratic institutions.
As part of the celebrations and to promote environmental awareness, a Tree Plantation Programme was also organized by OBC Chairman Mr. R. K Raj within the Congress Office premises. Party leaders and workers actively participated in planting saplings, symbolizing the commitment of the Congress Party towards environmental conservation and sustainable development.
The programme witnessed the participation of Senior party leaders, ANTCC Chief Spokesperson, District Congress President South Andaman, Representatives of Block Congress, Mahila Congress, Congress Seva Dal, City Congress, Youth Congress, NSUI, INTUC Federation, Minority Department, OBC Dept, Unorganised Workers & Employees Congress, RGPRS, PRI Members, Municipal Councilors and supporters in this occasion.
The ANTCC extended its warmest greetings and best wishes to Mr. Rahul Gandhi on his birthday and prayed for his good health, happiness, and continued success in serving the nation.
