Sri Vijaya Puram, June 18:The Administrative Reforms and Training Wing (AR&Trg.) of the A&N Administration, in collaboration with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), DoPT, New Delhi, organized a workshop on development of comprehensive Capacity Building Plans (CBPs) using iGOT-AI for the departments under the Andaman & Nicobar Administration at the Auditorium of Tagore Government College of Education, Sri Vijaya Puram on 18th June, 2026.
The primary objective of the workshop was to sensitize all the departments on the development of Capacity Building Plans to bridge the competency gaps among government officials. The competency gaps identified through the iGOT-AI will be systematically addressed through the targeted courses available on the iGOT platform.
In his inaugural address, Mr. Satnam Singh, Secretary (AR & Training), emphasized on the strategic importance of continuous learning and capacity building in governance. It was followed by the virtual keynote address delivered by Ms. Chandralekha Mukherjee, Principal Advisor, CBC.
The technical session was conducted by Mr. Uzair Simnani, Programme Coordinator from CBC, New Delhi. He provided participants with hands-on training on utilizing the iGOT-AI to develop customized, Department-specific CBPs.
