Sri Vijaya Puram, June 15: The Indian National Trades Union Congress (Federation) – INTUC Federation has appointed Mr. O. Bashir as National Secretary & Co-In Charge for Assam, Kerala and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, with immediate effect.
The appointment has been made in recognition of Mr. Bashir’s dedication, leadership qualities, organizational commitment and active contribution towards strengthening the objectives and vision of the Federation.
According to the appointment letter issued by the Federation, Mr. Bashir will be responsible for coordinating organizational activities, strengthening state-level communication, promoting labour welfare initiatives and assisting in expanding the Federation’s presence across the assigned regions. He will also work closely with office bearers, workers’ representatives and affiliated units to ensure effective coordination and organizational growth.
The Federation expressed confidence that under Mr. Bashir’s leadership, discipline and commitment, the organization will continue to progress and further its mission of serving workers and society with integrity and dedication. He has also been entrusted with upholding the dignity, values and constitutional principles of the organization while carrying out his responsibilities.
The leadership of the INTUC Federation extended its best wishes to Mr. O. Bashir for a successful tenure and expressed hope that his contribution would further strengthen the organization’s efforts towards the welfare and empowerment of workers across the country.
